ADD in child-excessive bath takin

Post a new topicby Ravenhawk on Sat Oct 10, 2009 6:20 pm

Hello,

My eight year old has been diagnosed with ADD and is on medication daily. My question to anyone out there is whether you have experienced excessive bath taking associated with this? My son is constantly taking a bath and I was curious if this might be connected. Thanks!

Often the diagnosis of ADD or ADHD has what is known in medicine as co-morbidities. Diseases that accompany the primary disease. It may be that he has OCD as well as ADHD or it may mean that he likes to bathe like both my sons. Baths are relaxing and fun and I would take several a day if I was not concerned about wasting water.

Hello,

Thank you for your input. This is all fairly new still to me and I do not know anyone personally who is going through the same thing. I appreciate the response.
