diagnosis online?

Post a new topicby micahj on Wed Nov 05, 2008 12:06 am

My 25 yr old son and I believe he has ADHD He is a college student and would really like some help. He does not have insurance and I cannot afford to pay for an extensive eval. Does anyone know of an online resource where he can answer all the questions over the web (or by phone) for a less expensive diagnosis?? Surely there must be something out there.
Thanks

I myself have never seen one, what I have seen is check lists of symptoms.
In order to get meds for adhd, if that's what you desire, you need a Dr to prescribe them. Normally a MD can diagnose.
Good luck!!!!

Just to let you know I'am not a Dr or anything I say I would double check with a real dr

I can do this for you there is a easy test you can do for him to tell if he has adhd

go get a can of red bull as long as he has no heart condition of any kind this should not hurt him

when he feels it come on and u can by either nervousness or lack of attention or any kind of ticks
drink the red bull the caffeine will stop it right away it is a avers affect of adhd basically the stimulant will slow the brain waves down if it does nothing then it could still be adhd

what are his symptoms
that might help me more to pin point it
