Living with ALS 30 years PlusHi, I am a victim of ALS. I was diagnosed in April of 1976 at the age of 34.It took Neurologist 9 months of many neurological test to diagnose ALS The onset began with me falling, dropping things and muscle spasms and twitching.

Re: Living with ALS 30 years PlusHi, I read your post and was touched by it. I have one or two symptoms that many people with als have but not others. the symptoms i have i've had for a very long time though.
My doctor wants to do a brain mri and all of this stuff and I'm rather nervous about it. I would be happy to email back and forth with you if you dont mind. Have a good week.
