stroke

Post a new topicby Guest on Tue Jun 24, 2003 2:19 pm

I had a stroke when I was 8 months pregnant. It was a lacunar stroke on the right side. I had no lingering effects. At the time, my neurologist, internal med doctor and high risk OB told me it was strictly pregnancy related. Now, it appears that I have had another on the left side. I have no family history of stroke I don't smoke, my cholesterol is fine. What could be causing me to have these strokes? My doctor is supposedly the best in the area, but he is not a real communicator.
