That story was so sweet. Thats the way loves supposed to be. I hope when I've been married 59 years my husband will take care of me (if he has to) like that. My mom has Parkinson's and some other medical complications. My father passes away in 1993 and she remarried soon after. She saw her new husband through colon cancer and chemo treatments for 6 months They will be married 15 years in a few days and about 2 months ago after mother being sick since October with sepsis, kidney stones, goiter and removeal of thyroid and parathyroid glands, several falls and more hospitalizations he decides he can't take it any more and leaves. Mind you now I'm the one taking care of my mom. he didn'd have to do anything but watch tv. Oh well, they are in the process of a divorce now and she is heartbroken. I'm tring to my best to keep her going. ANy way when I read your letter i wished my daddy was still here because i know he would have taken care of mom like you have.
