Re: LostKathy,
You are certainly in a frusterating situation. Split homes are very confusing and emotionally disruptive for most children and even worse for those on the Autism Spectrum who need consistant routine (sometime ritual) in order to feel secure. Therapy is a wonderful tool for most kids in split homes and maybe you could find a therapist in your area to help with the behavioral issues. Although I do not live in Louisana (I have family that does) I found some resources that may be of help to finding what you need. Louisana center for excellence in autism looks like a great resource http://www.hdc.lsuhsc.edu/Programs/LCEA/Resources.htm Also, Autism Link located two providers: http://www.autismlink.com/services/index/location_id:19/service_support_type_id:128 Best of luck to you!
