Back Pain

I was told about 10 years ago that I have degenerative disc disease. I was told to put ice packs on the area where there is pain. Has recently been giving me pain constantly for the past 3 and a half weeks. I have had an MRI on my back and am scheduled to have one on my neck next week. Then off to see a back surgeon
