shoulder and back pain

Post a new topicby klvm on Thu Oct 25, 2007 5:42 pm

Hi, i hope someone can help me with this, I have been having left soulder blade pain that is very painful the pain is constant along with pain that runs on my left side feels like the lung or ribs maybe. I have had 2 chest x-rays and a ct scan did blood work and a stess test everything comes back good. What could cause so much pain and not be detected? It worries me very much. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank You, Kristy

If all of your tests were negative, there is a good chance that it is related to your musculoskeletal sytsem, meaning that you could have muscular and nerve involvement. My advise is to seek out a physical therapist that specializes in manual orthopedic physical therapy. amy stein, physical therapist

Hi I have been having some simular problems. You may have a disk in your neck or back that is pressing up against a nerve causing the should blade pain and the pain in your ribs. I would suggest that you get an MRI done of the neck and back to see if you have a buldging disk.

Hope you get to feeling better.
