I got bell palsy on Christmas 2008. This is my story, hope it helps. A couple of days before Christmas I felt my mouth numb, like when you leave the dentist and the medication is wearing off. I thought it was from something I ate.
Then I notice when I would rise my mouth the water would split out, strange I thought. The next day my right eye started acting weird and twitching. I also had strong pain behind my right ear. That’s when I started to think there is something wrong with me. The...Read the full article

BP was also MY Christmas present. Not much of a present, was it?!! You were very fortunate to recover so quickly. You must not have had very severe damage to the nerve. I am finally feeling somewhat back to normal, but it has been a rough 5 months. Severe fatigue for 2 months, and depending on the stress level of each day, some days were better. I definitely feel that stress effects each and every day. I think I've learned more from these websites, and other sufferers than from the doctors. And each case is different. It's been frustrating that there are no definite answers or help. Lots of patience, and prayers.

I don't know about you, but I already plan on simplifying my holidays this year, so I don't get overly stressed as I usually do that time of year!! As I know this was the cause of mine.

Glad you are doing well!
