Is it really Bell’ Pasly?

I woke on a Thursday with what I described as a “plastic tongue and roof of mouth”. On Friday, I woke and asked my partner if my lips were “swollen”. I could not feel them. When I brushed my teeth, I could not hold the water in my mouth, and later that day, it was noticed that I was not blinking my left eye.

I was wondering what the neurologist ended up thinking this was, if not Bells Palsy? I am waiting for my appointment to see a neurologist, and my lower eye lid doesn't droop either. Also, I have not had a CT scan yet.
