30 y/o just diagonsed with BP

Post a new topicby amw on Thu Sep 03, 2009 10:45 am

Hello, I am a 30 y/o married mother of 2. well monday night i knew something was wrong. It felt like I just went to the dentist and my bottom lip was numb plus my eye lid just wouldn't stay closed. I decided that I would just call the doctor in the morning. well I got in with the doctor by 10 am on Tuesday and he said that it was BP and not to worry that everything would be okay. I was already on a anti-virus medicine so that was a postitive. Well I am into day 3 day and I can't smile on my left side or close my left eye. I am feeling twitching on my left side of my forehead and some above my eye. And I am guessing from what I have read on this site and others, the twitching is a good sign. Well of course, my daughter has school open house tonight, and I want to be brave and go but on the other hand, I just want to send my husband and hide in the house. My husband and my mom says its not that noticable, but I just know it is espically when I want to smile. And if you knew me, you would know that I try to smile all of the time. Its been a crazy couple of days and I am just hoping that I recover fast. Its just really scary! I just want to be back normal again!
