I was diagnosed with BP last Sunday. Since then I have had blurred vision also. I have been using Genteel gel drops and they are helping more than regular drops. I think my eye is blurry because of the fact I can't close it. I notice that when I physically close it and leave it shut for a minute or so, the vision clears up a bit.

Yes, I bought mine at the local CVS store. It's with the eyedrops. Hope it works for you. Dawn

I never heard of eyelid weights. I'm not having a problem keeping the eye closed once I shut it. What other symptoms are you having with the BP? I am having pain in the jaw area. I can't even sleep on that side because of the aching. Half of my tongue is numb also which is a pain. The only good thing that has come of this so far is that I have lost 6 pounds. Guess you have to look into the good of all things, lol.

Please let me know if the acupuncture works, I am also considering this. I have no pain, just discomfort, cant drink, from a glass, or spit when I brush or gargle, the food I eat keeps getting stuck in the right side of my mouth. I too have a bad taste from from my tongue, but have gained weight from the steroids. The blurred vision from right eye is the biggest problem for me, it is affecting my driving, and my most pleasured hobby, reading.

I am going on week 2 with the BP. I had a friend who recommended an accupuncturist and another who recommended a cranial chiropractor, which I am going to see tomorrow morning. I think what I find the most difficult is speaking. I notice the people stare at my mouth. I gently pull it to the side when I speak so I can say the words more fluently now. I felt empathy before for people with paralysis but now that I now what it's like, I have even more.
