my boyfriend has had bells palsy for a month he has taken prednisone and he still has it is there any other meds he can take for this he is really down and wonders if it is going to go away at all...help please

It often takes time (weeks to months) for the facial muscles to become strong again. Physical therapy can sometimes help as well. Tell him to be patient, and keep up his spirits.
