Hi, I also have had bells for a short time , since the last week in Aug. I had lots of pain and that has gotten better. My face is still completely gone on one side and still feels stiff on my left side when I try to talk alot. I still can't close my lft. eye. When I lay down on a pillow I still have a small amt. of pain from my head, ear and chin. Even without movement, not having all that pain helps. I don't know your age as I am 71 and if I was younger I am sure it would bother me alot more. Good luck to you. Marlene

Yes, I remember this as well, please try facial massage, I know it hurts, but it is what helped me to get rid of it for good. I went to a chiropractor, but you can do it yourself if you cannot get to one. I so strongly suggest it, you just can't imagine. It gave me my face back! Good luck, hunny. Do they know why you got it? Mine was right after i had my daughter and I was around my mother who had Shingles and they know that Shingles and BP are related. So that was their assumption.

Marlene, Are you using an ointment to keep your eye that does not close moist while you sleep? This is very, very, important as it can damage your eye.
