hello.. i was wondering if anyone knows something about a new procedure being performed,implanting a VAGUS NERVE STIMULATOR, as a way of dealing with chronic depression... it is new in the medical field, much more humane, and supposedly just as effective,(with no or minimal side effects) as electric shock treatment. i have suffered from depression from years,and i would love to know if there is anyplace around or in massachusetts, that perform this procedure... anyone knowing any info, i would so appreciate it.... thank you,
