I want to thank you latoya, just reading what you said about hope is helping me get through a very tough situation my girlfriend is fighting for her life, due to some strange swelling in her brain, to make a long story short she went to er for stomach pains was diagnosed with pancreatitis and what baffles me is she walked in on her own, and 1 month later through all her treatment and medication for pancres problems and pneumonia she had high temp throughout all this ,she ended up with no brain response she is currently on life support and her prognosis is not good at all we have 2very young children 18 months and 5yrs, my entire life has been turned upside down I love her very much, the doctors say that theres not much they can do they dont even know what caused the swelling , it just hurts so bad it all started on 6/30/09 and no one ever expected this, she went to hospital one way and to look at her and say what did they do to her, she never had any brain problems and now this , our family is so devastated by all this the hospital wants us to make a decision we just can't do that it's only been 35 days , i say if it comes to it put her in long term treatment , and go from there,i still believe in miracles , and i always look at it in a way that any progress is recovery to me i'm not ever giving up on her i just want to say thank you again may god bless you and your family . thank you darren in marlboro, Ma
