Need some answer about Brain Cancer

My father is a 57 year old man always been so sweet do anything in the world for anyone...He seems to be getting worse they can't do much for him the dr. said he had 5 years to live 5 years and 5 months ago I need to know what is the worse my family and I will be going through...My father can't remember short things he gets very mad very easy he is yelling at the people he loves the most when he gets mad his face looks like it turns purple the Dr said on his last MRI in Dec said his cancer hasn't grown much but alot of heating around his brain Iam hoping someone has an answer on what that means and also what me and my family will have to watch out for to know he has gotten worse please let me know
