Please read. Brain tumor?

Post a new topicby K16Jeffers on Mon Oct 29, 2007 5:32 pm

My name is Khristina and for the past year or so, I've been thinking that I might have a brain tumor. I've gone from a very high status, to a very low status in all aspects of my life. I've recently looked up brain tumor information and found that my own personal information matches up too well with it. I'm confused and afraid that I might have a tumor. I don't want to go to the hospital telling them how I feel and have them not take me seriously. I don't know what I should do. If you have anything you'd like to say, please let me know. Thank you, everyone.

HI,

I JUST NOW SIGNED IN THIS FORUM AND SAW YOUR MESSAGE.MY MOTHER (AGE 58) HAS BRAIN TUMOR AND IN A FEW DAYS A BIOPSY WILL BE PERFORMED IN ORDER TO SHOW IF IT IS MALIGNANT OR NOT.I SUGGEST THAT YOU VISIT A DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY BECAUSE BY BEEING AFRAID OF FACING YOUR PROBLEM YOU ONLY MAKE IT BIGGER AND WORSE.I PERSONALLY DONT HAVE ANY FAMILY SUPPORT ON MY TOPIC EXCEPT FROM MY OLDER SISTER WHO STUDIES TO GERMANY AND I DONT SEE OFTEN.SO I TRY TO FIND A SOLUTION FOR MY MOTHER ALMOST COMPLETELY BY MYSELF.I VISIT DOCTORS AND SEARCH THE INTERNET FOR ADVICE ALL THE DAY.YOU CAN SEND MESSAGES TO ME WHENEVER YOU LIKE.I BELEIVE THAT PSYCOLOGICAL SUPPORT IS VERY IMPORTANT CONCERNING HEALTH PROBLEMS.I REMIND YOU THAT YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY VISIT A DOCTOR!!!

Go right away!!!!!! My dad put off what he thought was a pulled muscle and it ended up being four tumors on his brain stem and spine. It only took a few weeks before he was not able to communicate with us and had paralysis on the right side of his body. Please go see a doctor as soon as possible!

I think that it's a good idea to go to your doctor. You're in charge of your life, and if you want tests done to see if you have any tumors then you should get them done. :] And if it turns out you don't, then be happy! Don't worry if you think you might be wrong, better safe than sorry I always say :].

I actually have been really worried about having brain cancer myself, and I'm only 16. How am I supposed to bring that up with my parents! It's tough enough that one of my dogs has cancer, and another might too...meaning we might have to put them down, my sister is going off to college, we're having financial issues, and our cars keep having to get fixed.

But I've been having these terrible headaches for a little over two weeks. It started on my first day of work. I love my job, so I didn't think it could be work-related. I've had a headache all day every day for 7 days, it went away for like...2 days...and today its back. There's also this pressure in my forehead...above my eyes that makes me feel like I have to work to keep my eyes open. Two days ago I also started to get nausea, and a severe upset stomach. I'm really worried, but I don't know if that's enough to be worried about something as severe as brain cancer. Got any ideas?
