My father in coma

My father suffered a massive heart failure 27 months back, and his breathing stopped completely, pulse zero, heart beat zero, blood pressure zero. We immediately shifted him to the hospital within 10 minutes during which he had C.P.R. by a family doctor and later on at the hospital he was given 24 D.C. shocks due to which the heart revived back. Im so sorry to hear about your father.Many times after a heart attack the brain is deprived of blood/oxygen for a period of time due to the heart not pumping and causes brain damage.(but Im sure the doctor explained this to you)It depends how long his brain was deprived of oxygen.I pray for your Dad and your family.It is a very difficult thing to go through.My prayers are with you .

My Dad is also in a coma due to the same thing. My prayers are with you and for your dad.
