CT-Or Something Else

Post a new topicby psilka on Sun Jan 25, 2009 4:00 pm

5-1/2 yrs ago ended up in Hospital as result of chronic alcoholism.8 days of ICU almost died, when out, in wheelchair for 2 weeks. After wheelchair, classic symptoms CT appeared (severe) both hands (no repetitive motion or family history relevant). Three Nuerologist one Neurosurgeon and surgeries on both hands resulted in no improvement. One Doc suggested nerve damage from alcohol related anemia I always thought use of wheelchair might be problem since pain originated in fold between thumb and finger as a result of turning wheel.
I have used Beta-Blockers and Neurotin with no success.I would really appreciate any comments or suggestions. I have had CAT scans and MRI's with no definitive results.I am tired of spending $$$ and no longer trust DOCS

My Carpal Tunnel Syndrome was diagnosed by a nerve conductivity test. Maybe it is too late now for this if you have already had surgery.
