Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

4 weeks ago I had surgery on both hands. one is now fine, the other feels worse than ever. I have extreme feeling in the three fingers normally afftected to the point that i can not even touch water as the fingertips feel so painful. The doctors have said to give it time and i am on meds but would like to here from anyone that has had surgery so i can make my own decision as to whether this is common. many thanks all.

Did you receive OT after surgery? Is the painful hand better since your post?
