Post surgical carpal tunnel surgery, soreness

Post a new topicby svwood on Thu Jan 31, 2008 8:18 pm

I had carpal tunnel surgery on both hands in October 2007. I had a post-op infection due to suture abcesses. I still have soreness in the palms of my hands. The soreness has now went into the first joint of my thumbs in both hands. Has anyone else had these symptoms post-op, if so what has helped to relieve it?

Hello, this is a forum moderator responding. Thank you for participating in the forum. Sorry to hear about your post-surgery soreness. There is physician-developed and monitored information regarding complications post surgery for Carpal Tunnel on this website at the following link:
http://www.neurologychannel.com/carpaltunnel/diagnosis.shtml#treat

I hope this information is helpful. Physicians who monitor these forums respond to some posts but not to all, so please continue to post in the forum as you learn additional information.

I wish you the very best.

Dear Forum Moderator
I attempted to get into the site you gave me and it gave me error 404, either this site has moved or no longer exsists.
