Charcot Foot

I had charcot for a few years before I even knew what charcot was. It was only thru an MRI that my doctor knew what was causing the severe pain in both my feet. I was immediately told to stay in bed off my feet for abut 6 weeks. Wearing a boot cast on my right foot. MINE WAS MISDIGNOSED AS AN INFECTION I CONTINUED TO WALK ON IT FOR A TOTAL OF 3 WEEKS.
FINANALLY MY FAMILY DOCTOR TOOK AN XRAY AND FOUND THE FRACTURE.
I HAVE BEEN TO 3 OTHER DRS AND ONLY ONE WANTED TO DO SURGRY.
THANK GOD I GOT ANOTHER OPINON. NOW I WILL BE IN A BOOT AND OFF MY FOOT ANOTHER 6 WEEKS.
IT HAS ALREADY BEEN 53 DAYS. I HAVE BEEN A TYPE 1 DIBETIC FOR 15 YEARS AND NOW VERY AFFRAID OF LOSING MY FOOT.
