Chronic Pain

I'm not sure if this is the ladies side for posts anyway, To become disabled has many definitions. At each level of our system, aka, City, State, and Federal Gov't to whom we work and work and pay into a system while working. Chronic pain doesn't discriminate and there may be levels but there is one thing for sure it, "chronic pain" never rests" it is not the concerned with what definition of disability is used. Dr's are not God and most try harder than others to help you and some it is beyond their scope of expertise or as spoken by a Dr. too complicated; but not memorialized. I sure hope I am not alone are there are others whom have had Dr's visits and the spoken word to you wasn't/isn't the written word to others? I've been declared 85% disabled by the Dr for the State I find myself, disabled and a never ending fight with the system struggled to return to the workforce. Held several jobs and 20 years have gone past in chronic pain and throughout with my limitations the 15% I had. Well it (15%) went as far as the Surgeon said I would make it. God Bless him, he passed away. The chronic pain began as an ever changing life/goal experience while at work an "accident", doing what most people do, work. Literally flipping a life into a spiral of never ending pain with goals and dreams destroyed. Now I find myself as disabled as can be, unable to work or otherwise I would be glad to go to work. I was raised with work, work is what we do. Being in pain and not being able to work is hell. Becoming a forgotten number in the system as you are no longer a whole person , whom contributes to the system, so you get a number and you get put in a line. Through all of this the never ending reminder that never stops only for the injured is the pain.
As for those who have their opinion on the psychological effects of one who suffers from chronic pain they have there place within this maze that those of us who suffer are in. When one can no longer sustain for oneself parts of the puzzle of our thought process is different due to the natural instinct of being productive aka work therefore are naturally distorted as we battle with what we have, everyone else is getting a paycheck.

In the event anyone who reads this is involved with SSDI hearings there is a 24 month backlog from your date of denial. And they require a form be filled out and submitted to them.
Problem or convenient the insurance you are left with due to inability to work will not pay for the exam. Where does one whom is already dependent upon another for life's necessities get the money to pay for this exam? There is nothing left to sell. Lest us not forget I am only asking for what
I have been forced to contribute to when I was a whole person.
