pain in elbow; arm sore and numb; neck pain

Post a new topicby shadow_angel79 on Tue Sep 22, 2009 12:28 pm

For the last 3 months or so I've had severe pain in my right arm that is centralized in my elbow; I can't do much of anything with it; bent or unbent, it still hurts. My whole arm (a bit above my elbow down) feels tired all the time no matter what I do; sometimes it just shakes when I try to lift it up.

My neck has also been hurting me (for years actually), which basically gives
me a headache everyday (different severity though; some are better then others) so my doctor referred me to a neurologist who asked for an MRI which came out normal. Previous to this, he had sent me to get the nerves in my arm tested believing it might be neural entrapment in my elbow but that came back normal as well.

The neurologist this morning said there was nothing he could do, his words were "it's maybe a bone or something, or just stress." and advised me to keep my elbow off anything solid (which I've been doing already) and watch my neck.

I'm wondering if it is just stress or something related or if it could be something more serious.
