Coma

My husband has been in a coma for 8 weeks now. The doctors wanted me to pull the plug after 10 days which I think is to soon. He is now opening his eyes, grimace when in pain, starting to grip my hand, slight movement with legs. Can anyone tell me what this means and is there a possibility he will wake up. A nurse told me that we need to wait at least 100 days prior to making a decision. Is this true? I love my husband dearly and I want to make sure that I am giving him a fair chance.

OMG, I so feel your pain...no one knows anything...people continue to rub my back and offer to do things for me and I just want to dig a hole...I just posted regarding my 19yo daughter who is a Glasco 10, but started at a 3....She grips my hand but not on command....I can't give up no matter when and my heart aches for you in your situation...I don't know what I'd do if the medical community forced me to make a call....I can barely keep my head up, let alone make a life decision.
