Coma

12 days ago i found my husband hanging he is now in icu in what they call a vegatative state, he is breathing for himself and coughing ,yawning. he is having fits everytime the staff move him or try to do something although these fits r decreasing in intensity and r not as often as they were.
it is still a worry the fits r caused by inflamation of the brain, as u can imagine i am worry to death and livin in limbo hopin that he will wake up each day i visit. the doctors dont help all they do is ...Read the full article

Stay positive, my son has been in this state since April 20, 2007 from a blast in Iraq. We see an improvement each day. I know of a young man that was without oxygen for a weekend and was in a coma for five months, now he is talking and eating on his own. Miracles do happen.
