Re: OverviewI have been dealing with upper back pain for over 2 years. I have been seeing a chiropractor almost weekly, have been to acupuncture 4 times now, and have had massages, epidural steroid injections, and trigger point injections, along with physical therapy. Nothing seems to make this pain any better. My doctor will not prescribe me pain medications, as he does not want me to become addicted. I had an MRI that showed I have 3 bulging discs in my upper/mid back, the Dr. said I have degenerative disc disease. The neurosurgeon I saw refused to treat it, due to the fact that I am not experiencing any numbness, weakness,or tingling in my arms. I am very discouraged, the pain is there almost constantly. Is there something that can be done so I don't have to live in pain all the time? The pain does get worse if I stand for a long period of time, which is often at my job. Please let me know of any other options I may have for relief. Thank you!
