Re: behaving hurtfullyIn some individuals with dementia, personality changes are seen. In general, cognitive changes develop slowly over time, but it is possible that unusual outbursts may be seen. If you are noticing a change in someone you know, it is always wise to have them see their doctor. Other problems, including stroke, metabolic abnormalities, head trauma, depression, can present with similar symptoms.
