How fast does demntia progress? And what are the different levels. She fell the other day and hit her head did not know where she was. Our mother has congestive heart failure, only one kidney, frontal lobel contutions, heart backwash, high blood preasure, liver diecse, lung diesece, hepitises c, mini strokes,
40% of a artery was bloked in her heart, 50-75% blokage in the right side artery in her neck. After many test this past weekend they diagnosed her with demntia we need all of the information we can get. Dose she need care 24/7?

It sounds like your mothers situation is very complex. She has a number of medical problems (incuding the contusions and strokes) that certainly could contribute to changes in her cognitive functioning. A full evaluation by a neurologist would be indicated. Neurospychological testing would also address safety issues and help plan treatment and care.
