Dementia

my grandmother just recently went into a nursing home. in the last 4 days she has seem to lost her mind. she is hallucinating, thinks she is at her old summer house, thinks a man is stealing her clothes and talks to the woman who shares a room with her who is in a coma, and insists that she talks back. it's all very difficult. her doctor said about a month ago that she did have dementia but what i have read so far doesn't seem to fit her syptoms. do you have any ideas?

I was reading your story and kind of know how you feel. My grandmother is kind of going through the same things right now. I wish I knew what to do also. This is my first time on this web site and really love my grandmother the doctor also told my aunt's and dad that she to has dementia and I don't know to much about it.
