Post a new topicby raveman on Tue Aug 14, 2007 3:51 pm

i WAS TAKIN' A SHOWER IN jAN. 2006 WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN I GOT SO DIZZY AND STARTED THROWING UP! WELL, I CONTINUED TO BE DIZZY AND THREW UP FOR THREE(3) DAYS! i FINALLY WENT TO REG. DOC. WHO SAID 'SOMETHINGS WRONG GO SEE A ENT". SO, I GO SEE AN ENT WHO TELLS ME I HAVE AN INNER EAR INFECTION AND GO HOME AND 'HEAL' WELL, I WENT HOME AND THE THROWING UP/PUKEING STOPPED BUT THE DAMN DIZZINESS REMAINED. SO, 4 MONTHS LATER WENT TO ANOTHER ENT AND HE TOLD ME I NEED A MRI AND BLOOD TESTS. BUT, THEN SAID 'INNER EAR VIRUS GO HOME AND HEAL. HUH? SO, I WENT HOME, NEVER HEALED. I FINALLY GOT SO SICK AND DIZZY AGAIN I WENT TO EMERGENCY HOSPITAL AND WAS ADMITED. I WAS THERE FOR FIVE(5) DAYS AND THEY TOOK MRI AND MANY BLOOD TESTS. THEN A DOC TELLS ME HE 'NEEDS' A 'SPINAL TAP'. WHAT? THAT'S INSANE. BUT, I'M SICK AS ALL HELL SO....OK, FINALLY FIVE(5) DOCS CAME IN AND TELL ME "WE 'THINK' YOU HAVE 'MS'. I ASK HOW DO YA KNOW THAT? THE SAYS WELL IT'S OUR GENERAL 'OPINION' THERE IS NO POSITIVE TEST FOR 'MS'. SO? THEY LET ME GO HOME. I'M ON 'Copaxone', but still dizzy!!!! WHY CAN'T THEY DO ANYTHING ABOUT THE DIZZINESS? Any HELP? Thank You.

MR or MRI often shows characteristic lesions in patients that have MS. You should get a copy of you test and see what it says. If you do have MS there are some MS medications out there that my be beneficial, but that would be up to your doctor

MR or MRI often shows characteristic lesions in patients that have MS.[I DO HAVE SUCH 'LESIONS']

You should get a copy of you test and see what it says.[HUH? I WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT SUCH A MS 'TEST' MEANS.]

If you do have MS there are some MS medications out there that my be beneficial,[WELL, ALL I HAVE IS 'DIZZINESS' FOR THE PAST 18 MONTHS.]

but that would be up to your doctor.[THERE'S THE 'PROBLEM'. DOCS ARE ALL PRE-MED FOR THEIR 'OWN' CONCERNS/OPINIONS AND NOT 'FACTS'. ALL MEDS GIVEN ARE FOR 'NAUSEA' AND NEVER HELP THE DIZZINESS. ARGH! I AM THANKFUL FOR YOUR ANSWER.]
