encephalitisMy daughter is 21 years old. She contacted that disease in September 2005 before her graduation from high school. She has memory problems. She used to be an A student x the Boston Latin Academy. She still complaint of headache because of the swelling in her brain. She is on medication for seizure as a result of that disease.

Re: encephalitisMy daughter also is suffering the aftermath of this wicked viral infection! She turned 18 in April this year, life just starting and bang! The memory loss is something our daughters both seem to have now .Seizure medication is now a daily routine. I am so sorry for your family as this really is just so hard to understand how this could happen. I totally understand what you have been through and I guess our journey is just at the beginning. I just keep praying and willing on all my positive thoughts (some days are hard though) for the effects of this illness to disappear. All the best to your family and to your daughter.
