Encephalitis

My father is 70 yrs. old and he was diagnosed with encephalitis. He started with headaches, fatigue then came the vomiting with a very high fever with chills. Doctors were confused why the fever wouldn’t won’t go away. His second day in the hospital was scary because he started hallucinating, slurring and he stopped breathing. i just wanted to know did he survive, my girlfriend is in the icu now they dont know what caused her
brain to swell, she originally came to the er for cirossis of the liver and we were told she had pancreatitis, they treated her and then she got pneumonia, and now they she is not responding when they brought her down on her pain meds, the doctors say she wont recover , our family is torn apart ,
we have to very young children, i'm just devastated i'm just in so much pain i dont know which way to turn i pray for her everyday but the pain just will not go away i also believe god has to last word .
i just hope god gives her another shot at life, it just hurts so bad thank you for whoever reads this and can just relate how deep this pain is, trying to smile at my kids and go on with this terrible news
is just so hard.
