Encephalitis

Can anybody help with information please - I live in the UK and its not easy getting to see a neurologist here. I had encephalitis 18 months ago - causing all sorts of complications from which I am still recovering - at the time it was touch and go as to whether I lived or died. I thought I was making a fair recovery till about nine weeks ago when my right leg began to swell - went to ER as I still have a clot in my brain from the encephalitis and was scared in case it was another clot - Dr just looked and said he had no idea what was wrong and did not offer any help other than "come back if it does not improve" swelling got worse steadily and returned to ER four weeks later - this time an xray showed arthritis - which may or may not have been there previously - however these past weeks since then I feel as though every bone in my body is being eaten away - I fall asleep at night only to waken a short time later screaming in pain in all my joints and muscles - its getting worse and is now at the stage I begged my husband for morphone last night - never taken it before - thats how bad it is - I am slowly losing the ability to walk, finding everyday living more and more diffiuclt becuase of the increasing pain- can't hold a cup because of pain in bones and muscles - don't really want to go back to ER - was made to feel I was fussing last two times - I did read somewhere that this type of pain can be a further complication of encephalitis - anybody any ideas? Any help or answers appreciated.
