Can enyone help

i have had a problem with alochol for most of my adult years and started having seziures about 2 years ago although frightening i continued to drink and the medical proffesion put it down to withdrawal then 2 months ago i had a seziure whilst i was on my own for the first time in the past someone has always been with me, i stayed consious and frightened is not the word, from that day i stopped drinking, but 5 weeks down the line still not having had a drink i had 3 more sizures, i have now been ...Read the full article

Well the first thing is to stay strong on giving up drinking. I hope you have a support group as well. There are so many ages and reasons for seziures to develop that I would focus on controling them and treat the two issues separately. I will assume you are seeing a neualogist, if not make it the first thing you do. Have they determined what kind of seziure? Have you had an EEG?
