I'm sorry you are going through such a difficult time but I am glad you finally got the correct diagnosis. I'm also sorry to hear that you are allergic to most anti-convulsants medicines. Have you consider going to a naturopathic doctor that specializes in epilepsy/seizures? My grandson had his first seizures at 4 1/2 months of age. His second one at 8 months. There's no explanation for his seizures and we won't be able to find out if he has epilepsy until he's 2 years old. My daughter took him to a naturopathic doctor since she was afraid of the side effects of the medicines. So far, so good. He's now almost 10 months and we're hoping his last seizure was the last one! Anyway, it' was just a suggestion that you might want to consider.
