I need some help please?

Post a new topicby lopezcaroline on Thu Jun 04, 2009 11:59 am

My 15 months baby boy is been dignosised with Epilepsy on April 28,2009. The Neurologist prescribed Trileptal 1ml twice per day and my son stared having some sides effects to the medication right away. His right hand is moving all the time and he can not control it at all. We took him to the doctor and she changed medications for Keppra hoping it will improve but not. Now he has some difficulty walking with his right foot as well. He already had 2 MRI and x EEG and the MRI were okay and the EEG showed some abnormality in his left side. We took him to the doctor again and she said she never seen anything like this and she doesn't know anymore is he has epilepsy or not. He got a blood test to find out if he has Sydenham's chorea but it was negative. We are wondering what is going on with him? If anyone of you knows a doctor that can find out what is going on with him and treat him please let us know. We are willing to go anywhere for our little one. Thanks. Caroline
