I began having seizures in february 2001 at age 19, I am currently 27. I literally take a seizure every 27 months on the dot!! I am taking Lamictal (600mg). This last time around I only had a little seizure, usually have grand mal. My doctor is now at a loss as to what could be causing it. He said he has never dealt with seizures that occur on such an exact schedule and never in between. Has anyone ever heard of this. We know its not stress because stress occurs every day not only every 27 months. Plus have had stress tests and long term EEG's where they did things to cause stress and sleep deprivation. Please let me know if you have ever heard of this.

So does it occur during the 27th month, or is it down to a day? If it were down to the day I might suggest not being aware of what day it was as a troubleshooting step. I think you should include the time and dates of all your seizures if you want ideas as to their cause. That is weird that it would occur every 27 months. I would wonder if it is some psychosomatic thing. The mind is a powerful thing.
