Have had this a LONG LONG time

Post a new topicby livingwith on Thu Jul 09, 2009 12:37 pm

I have ET of the head and I also drink to subside the tremors. I have had this for as long as can remember and I am 30 now. I recently found out that drinking actually causes the tremor to progress more quickly. But, I just try to get through daily life. I am however, very afraid of becoming an alcoholic as it runs in my family. I dont understand why I was `chosen to have ET especially since ET does not run in my family, but I do appreciate this site. When you see the neurologist will you ask him about the alcohol. thanks.
