Re: Living with E.T. for 40 yearsHi,
I also have been living with E.T. for at least 40 years. I am about to turn 67. Two years ago it began to affect my voice. It has gotten worse each decade, as my Neurologist said it would. Each decade he has added a new medication. I will tell you what medications I am taking, and the strength. I believe I am taking much higher doses than you. My tremor is under control, but I feel tired all the time. I try to exercise to increase my metabolism. Medications: Propranolol 160 mg (am), Primidone tabs (generic for Mysolene) 250 mg 1-1/2 pm, Gabapenten 300 mg 3 x day, Topamax 50 mg 2 x day. I also have Xanax to take if I feel anxious. The Topamax is the last medication my doctor added and it has helped my voice. I have trouble if I get real anxious or upset. I have not had trouble walking. If I could get off all my medication I would do the brain surgery, I think. I know it is frightening to think about, though. I don't know if this will help. Kybelle42
