Hi Wendy and others:
I have had et all of my life (52 now) as do 4 of 7 siblings. We apparently are in the lucky gene club :). I now take 360mg of inderal LA daily which my doctor says is the maximum that can be prescribed. You may want to speak with the doctor about increasing your dosage which is of course dependent upon many things so may not be for you. I have a brother who can not even take 40mg doses. Thank you for replying to my posting. Your family must be supportive with so many of them sharing this affliction. I am one of three siblings. middle child, one brother. one sister. Neither have et. My niece however does have et (my sister's daughter). She is an architect and is finding the tremor so difficult (with her drawings and things) that she is now becoming a lawyer. I think I will try upping the doseage of Inderol however I am not a large person and become sluggish with a larger dose. Perhaps my system will become accustomed to it. Am hearing about possible treatments with Botox. Would love to hear from anyone who has tried it.
