Essential Tremor

I would like to hear from anyone who has botox shots for essential tremor of the head. My doctor has suiggested it for me. I would like to know what the results have been for anyone who has had the shots

Haven't had it done for a tremor but have had it done for a neurogenic bladder, I would think it would work. Certainly would not hurt.

I, too, am very interested in botox for tremors ever since I read a fairly recent article in NYTimes Sunday Mag. about a pianist who couldn't move his hands until botox was tried. My daughter (in the med. profession) says no but anxious to hear what your doctor says would make botox work. Also, do you have any other ideas on controlling tremor in the neck? cbyil

I do hope that someone does answer this with the results. I have lived with tremors for many years, but as of this last year it is now effecting my voice. I can no longer sing and that is very sad to me. Please let me know if you think this might work.
