Hey to my Vibrating Friends

Post a new topicby elkmagik on Mon Apr 27, 2009 4:12 pm

Thought I would drop in and say hi to you all and to let you know I am still alive here in wo-ho Idaho.

Nothing has changed since last time I visited with my ET's .. medication, treatment and "NO" they did not go away!

My left shoulder is doing OK... even though I only received 7 therapy sessions back in Nov/Dec 08.
Wife is doing fine.. mean as ever!

For the winter .. I have been dinking down in our unfinished [well except for 1 small bedroom]. So far I have almost all the framing complete, door rough-ins, walls up between different rooms and now am starting the electrical for a break.. or so I thought.

Having been an electrician for over 30 years, I thought what I use to do, would be a snap, "NOT!"
Now my ET's make it a real challenge to hit the end of a screw with a driver or a screw gun, taking both hands to manage the task. Nailing boxes is quite the challenge too.. I used a nail gun on the studs, though I did get lots of double and triple hits until I mastered it each day. So... I always look at what I have done each day in a totally different light and have learned to appreciate the fact I am still doing something ... even though it takes forever sometimes.

If any of you are interested in my progress downstairs, or my hobbies, I do have a facebook spot...

My daughter Katie's leukemia is still not in remission yet for her bone marrow transplant, but she is getting there. It was hard to take when I found out I could not be a donor because of the ET s, my own cancer and the biggie agent orange.

Outside of that ... got lots of snow this spring.. It's sunny outside today .. my cup is half-full of coffee ...and I hope this little note finds all my friends here surviving everything.

God Bless you guys!
Hugs and Kisses,
J

Good Morning....

Currently I am on a liquid diet due to a failure with my pancreas Thursday evening that sent me to ER Friday morning. They also found that my tiny pea size pearl that is in my lower left lung has now become the size of a Large chicken egg ... just great! Agent Orange sure has made a mess of my health in my latter years ...

I am feeling much better ... and able to start again on my medication ... which has already lessened the ET's so I can eat jello ... woot! I will find out more as we progress into the work week on what condition my condition is in ... at least it was not a heart attack or stroke like I figured it was ...

I hope all are doing fine and hanging in there...

Hugs
