Please advise as to what works

Post a new topicby susanrich on Sat Mar 21, 2009 9:02 am

I have not been diagnosed yet but have diagnosed myself. I know without a doubt that Essential Tremors is what I have. I am getting an appointment as soon as possible. What I need to know from everyone is what works for you and the side effects you experience. This is such an embarrassing thing to have. Please anyone, give me some suggestions before I visit my doctor. Thanks!

Susanrich,

It would really not be right to tell you what you need to suggest for your doctor to prescribe for you. Being correctly diagnosed is primary. Each person's treatment varies. Prescribing of medications can depend on other health issues that you may have.

If you read some of the previous topics, you will read of some of the various regimens that people are on. These are individually prescribed by their physician.

I am a nurse and if I were to give you suggestions about medications, I would be in trouble for practicing medicine. I feel comfortable answering nursing questions, but not physician related ones. I hope you under the position that I am in.

There is another web site that some of the people go into detail about their medications. It is:
wemove.org

Maybe you will find some help there.
