FibromyalgiaIt started in Feb. of 2001. I thought i had the flu, but it lasted two months. Nobody knew what was wrong. I actually had one doctor tell me it just might go away. I switched doctors. Re: FibromyalgiaI can definitely relate to just about everything you said. I have had fibromyalgia for almost 8 years now and I have been on all kinds of anti-inflammatories, vicodin, percocets, and I am currently on the Fentynol patch (50 mgs) and it helps for a little while until your body gets use to it and then you have to go up in dosage. I know what you mean about being tired all the time, it doesn't matter how long I sleep I get up fatigued all the time. Before I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia I could spend all day fishing and then go to work at night, but now I barely fish and I can't work. I do although have a very supportive and understanding wife. She helps me to deal with this day by day. I am really hoping that someone here can give me some ideas that could possibly help with managing the pain.
