i have lived with fibromyalgia since 1993 it took them 3 years to find out that i had it ..it started with pain in my shoulders legs and arms …and now i have it all over there is never a day with out pain…and i have to say it get worse year by year
..im now waiting to see another doctor as i have pain in my face eye bones and cheeks …sinus as been ruled out and my balance is going to ..im upset that people say there is a cure for this there is not i am now 50 so 15 years down ...Read the full article

YES i hurt hurt all over in my face i just didnt think i have so many body parts you realize how many parts you have when they hurt so bad Just belive in GOD and let him take control.I hope you let GOD take control because its one heck of a ride POST {JUST SHOOT MEEEE}

I am a 43 and was diagnosed with fibro in August. I believe the onset really started in June, because I had what we thought was a stroke. My face dropped to one side and I was rushed to hosp, but was told that i was actually having a severe seizure. After this my right leg was unable to move correctly, it was dragging. A couple weeks later, I started having a lot of pain in my legs and back. I have several members in my family with this disorder so when I went to an ortho doctor I asked him did he think I had fibro, and he thought it was not that. So now I see a neuro doctor and was admitted into the hosp, for testing about my seizures and got the diagnoses of fibro. This has completely changed my life style I was very active and in online college. All of this had to end because of the severe pain that I have. I had pain so severe in my left arm that it appearred that I was having a heart attack. It was the fibro moving across my arm to my chest muscle. I was on lyrica, but had the bad side effects, so now on some drug called Gabapentin 1800 mg. I seem to be feeling somewhat better, the pain is there but I can finally move my arm w/out feeling like a heart attack is happening. I know this is a very long post, but I want to know if anyone went through seizures and the other things I have mention.
