Evening Primrose Oil

Post a new topicby cheryldumais on Tue Nov 18, 2008 2:26 pm

I used to take Evening Primrose Oil (3 X 1000mg caps. or 6 X 500mg) and had pretty good results. I had seen a doctor here who specialized in this type of disorder and this was his recommendation. I recently had surgery which has prevented me from swallowing the capsules and 6 months later I am seeing a roaring return of the pain and fatigue. I had forgotten how much I used to hurt. I am only sharing this in case it might be a viable option for some of you. I always bought Ultra Prim which is supposed to be more pure. Many times I had thought it wasn't doing anything but now that I have stopped taking it I realize how much good it was doing me. If you decide to try it start out with a smaller dose and work up or you may have intestinal problems.
