Must read book for those with Fibromyalgia

Ok, so I have no affiliation with this guy whatsoever and am not trying to sell you anything, but I strongly urge you to check out "The Divided Mind" by Dr. John Sarno. Dr. Sarno spent years treating patients with chronic back pain and fibromyalgia, and developed some very interesting theories about what causes it - and how to cure it. I turned to this book after wrist pain had made me quit my job, and now I am typing this message to all of you. Read more here:

An interesting theory, but I have proved that my fibromyalgia symptoms simply disappear if I avoid foods containing high levels of salicylic acids. It seems the condition is definitely related to food intolerances. The first thing I removed from my diet was gluten. After 2 days the debilitating fatigue I had been suffering, simply vanished. This was back in May. However, over this past month I have been so unwell and it took me a while to work it out, but I had added a lot of fruit to my diet, things I don't usually eat. I couldn't understand why I felt so awful until I did more research on the internet. Once I discovered the connection between salicylates and fibro, I removed certain fruits from my diet. The difference in my mood, fatigue, braindead feeling were and are astonishing. I finally feel normal and will continue using diet to control my fibromyalgia. Believe me, diet works. I think many of us have food intolerances but just don't know about them and these present as illnesses. It's only when we make the connection and change our diet accordingly that we start to see progress.
