Post a new topicby TheRanker on Wed Jul 22, 2009 4:45 am

i have extream pain in all my joints and feels like bone or nerve issues. im 27.. pain been constant for 5 months.. lost my job as i cant work.. i seen doctors.. had xrays blood urine tests done.. all clean as a whistle.. im set to see a rthumotoid specilist.. only 1 in this province.. wait is ~4-5 months.. if not more.. doctor thinks its fibromylsia.. excuse the spelling.....they put me on lycria to see if it helps in the meantime..

the pain is very extream in my feet and hands.. my knees n elbows hips and neck hurts but when my feet or hands hurt its tear dropping bad... the pain is very sharp.. no inflammation at all.... sharp shooting throbing pain.... dont think it feels like burning but it kills me.. cant sleep right.. cant excercise... cant walk more then 5-10 minutes. cant type.. sit or stand for any lenght of time..have to keep switching positions..

any ideas??

new pain location has came up lately... upper cheek bones.. right below the eyes..

only been on lyrcia for 3 days.. to hard to tell if that is going to work.... to see a specilist here in newfoundland canada is a very very long wait... lots of pain to come unfortanly.

any advise would be greatly appriciated.. thanks guys/gals

I'm just recently diagnosed with fibro. but your symptoms sound like you have it.
not everbody has the same pain, nor do they respond to meds the same way.
I've been in pain for 10 years ,the last 5 was the worse, I've been told a lot of different things by a lot of different people,'' your getting old'','' you have arthritis'', ''your imagining it'' finally my doctor AFTER I SUGGESTED FIBRO, tested my trigger points and said I do have fibro.
Lyrica didn't help me, it made me foggy headed and the pain was worse. presently on cymbalta, an antidepressant. the pain is improved, but not gone, can't sleep at night and am mean all the time.
so what I've learned is it's a day by day thing, hang in there
